Land Survey Analyst - Join a Growing Survey Team

A well-established civil engineering and land surveying firm is looking to add a Survey Analyst to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid survey office experience who wants to take on more ownership across boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and design surveys - while working under licensed supervision with a clear path forward.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading survey analysts and technicians on assigned tasks
  • Coordinating survey sub-consultants
  • Preparing survey base maps, boundary/topographic surveys, design surveys, and ALTA/NSPS surveys
  • CAD drafting using Auto-CAD Civil 3D
  • Conducting survey research - record maps, assessor's maps, title reports, and historical documents
  • Drafting legal descriptions and plats
  • Supporting design engineering teams and other departments
  • Assisting with survey proposals - scopes and sub consultant estimates
  • Running QC checks on CAD files, survey data, and deliverables
  • Assisting Contract City Surveyors with map and document plan checks
  • Maintaining organized digital project files, logs, and workflow documentation

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years of survey office experience (CAD, survey research, mapping)
  • LSIT certification or PLS license (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Auto-CAD Civil 3D
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Bluebeam (a plus)
  • Strong analytical, geometric computation, and technical writing skills
  • Ability to manage task assignments independently while working under licensed supervision
  • Solid communication skills with internal teams and sub consultants
