About the Role
We are looking for a Systems Specialist with hands-on experience in Tridium Niagara and Distech Controls to join our Building Automation team in Austin, TX. This role involves configuring, programming, and commissioning building automation systems to deliver efficient and reliable solutions for commercial and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, program, and troubleshoot Tridium Niagara and Distech Controls systems.
- Integrate HVAC, lighting, and other building systems into a unified BAS platform.
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and validation to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to meet project requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and service teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and updates.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience working with Tridium Niagara and Distech Controls platforms.
- Strong understanding of BACnet, Modbus, and other building automation protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and architectural drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Niagara N4 certification or Distech EC-Net experience.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, etc.).
- Experience with energy management strategies and analytics tools.
