Team Lead - SCADA & Controls (Renewable Energy)
Our client is a smaller to mid-sized engineering firm recognized for over 25 years of service dedicated to the renewable energy & power generation sector. Based in the US with a team comprised of local and remote workers across the country - our team is comprised of engineers, designers, project managers and technical leads committed to the same mission: supporting clean technology & infrastructure but also while having fun doing it.
Our projects include distributed generation to large utility-scale projects across North America including:
- Wind energy
- Solar power
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Substation and SCADA systems
- Transmission infrastructure
We have an exciting opening for a Team Lead - SCADA to support out renewable energy SCADA controls, integration, software and development team. This position can sit 100% remote (up to 25% travel) and will be open compensation based on experience.
Your background & qualifications:
- 8-10+ years of experience working on SCADA systems, preferably for the power or renewable energy sector.
- Displays team leadership experience - has previous experience leading a team of SCADA engineers.
- RTAC experience - is able to set up and/or code, uses RTAC regularly.
- Python experience is a plus.
- Understanding of power plant controllers commissioning process, BESS or PV power plant controllers, a plus.
- Networking exprience is a plus -- firewall rule sets, switch configurations, etc.
- Top notch experience with schedule management, involvemnet/oversight on drawing packages, etc.
