Senior Technology Engineer
A multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Technology Engineer to support a variety of projects across commercial, multifamily, education, municipal, healthcare, and life sciences markets. This individual will be responsible for technology systems design, documentation, and implementation from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Develop and coordinate low-voltage technology system designs with minimal oversight, including ICT, audiovisual, and electronic security systems.
- Support new construction, renovation, and modernization projects.
- Design and document structured cabling, security, audiovisual, paging, intercom, clock, and other communications systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to integrate technology solutions into building projects.
- Apply sustainable and resilient design principles where appropriate.
- Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and coordination skills.
- Maintain working knowledge of applicable industry codes, standards, and best practices such as NEC, NFPA, BICSI, TIA, and AVIXA guidelines.
- Develop construction documents using Revit and provide direction to production staff.
- Assist with development and maintenance of Division 27 and Division 28 specifications.

- Professional Engineer (PE)
- RCDD
- AVIXA CTS-D
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000-$130,000

- 5+ years of relevant experience in technology systems consulting, design, or engineering.
