Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) and associated project documentation.
- Design traffic management layouts for infrastructure, maintenance, utilities, and event projects.
- Ensure designs comply with Queensland standards, Transport and Main Roads (TMR) requirements, and relevant legislation.
- Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, local authorities, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify practical traffic management solutions.
- Review and update existing traffic management plans as project requirements evolve.
About You
- Experience in Traffic Management Design, Traffic Engineering, Transport Planning, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of Queensland traffic management standards and regulations.
- Experience producing TMPs and traffic control designs for road, civil, utilities, or construction projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality.
Desirable
- TMD accreditation or relevant Queensland traffic management qualifications.
- Experience working with TMR, local councils, or major contractors.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or other traffic design software.
- Exposure to large-scale infrastructure or transport projects.
