The Opportunity
We're working with a highly respected infrastructure consultancy that helps government agencies, asset owners and private sector clients make better transport investment decisions.
As part of a growing Transport Advisory team, you'll work on a diverse range of projects across roads, rail, public transport, active transport and city-shaping infrastructure. This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional design and delivery work and develop expertise in strategic planning, project development, business cases, investment decisions and major project advisory.
About the Role
Working alongside experienced advisors, planners and infrastructure specialists, you'll support clients through the early stages of project development and decision-making.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the preparation of business cases, strategic assessments and feasibility studies.
- Undertaking transport and infrastructure research, analysis and reporting.
- Assisting with project development, planning and investment planning activities.
- Contributing to transport strategy, policy and advisory projects.
- Coordinating stakeholders across government, consultants and project teams.
- Preparing client presentations, technical reports and advisory documentation.
- Supporting procurement, project assurance and infrastructure planning activities.
About You
We're interested in professionals with experience in transport planning, infrastructure consulting, project development or advisory services.
You will ideally have:
- Experience within a transport consultancy, engineering consultancy, government agency or infrastructure organisation.
- Exposure to transport planning, project development, business case preparation or infrastructure advisory work.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work with a range of stakeholders and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Interest in the strategic and commercial aspects of transport infrastructure projects.
