A regionally recognized mid-size firm with over 30 years in the business is expanding their Chicago office! They are currently now based in over 4 states across the Midwest region with one internationally. Their ability to build strong relationships in the industry and their ability to deliver quality work has helped them to achieve the success they have today. They are looking for a Transportation Engineer that can uphold their stature of being a Partner of Choice when it comes to their employees and various clients.
Job Description
- Leading a team of engineers and drafters
- Directing and training staff on roadway projects
- Preparing project design reports
- Assisting with the preparation of proposals and contracts
- Participating in quality control/quality assurance
- Maintaining client relationships
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- PE license required (Illinois)
- 7 to 12 years of experience in transportation design.
- Familiarity with Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and Illinois Tollway design engineering practices
- Experience with Microstation, OpenRoads Designer
- Ability to collaborate with the design team, and clients
