Transportation Engineer
We are working with a skilled and motivated Transportation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing transportation projects that improve mobility, safety, and sustainability. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions for roads, highways, transit systems, and pedestrian infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review transportation engineering plans, studies, and designs.
- Conduct traffic impact analyses and modeling using industry-standard software.
- Prepare construction documents, cost estimates, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies for permitting and compliance.
- Support public engagement efforts and present findings to stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- 3+ years of experience in transportation engineering or traffic planning.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Synchro, HCS, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with multimodal transportation planning.
- Familiarity with environmental review processes (NEPA, CEQA).
- Knowledge of local and federal transportation standards and guidelines.
