Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects across multiple locations, with a home base in Brownsville, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all on-site construction activities and personnel.
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Conduct daily site inspections and maintain detailed project documentation.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, reporting progress and issues.
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings.
- Travel to various job sites as required (typically within Texas and surrounding states).
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably in a traveling role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proven experience leading projects over $25M
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
