Travelling Superintendent Foundations
Overview:
A leading geotechnical contractor is seeking an experienced and ambitious Superintendent to join their growing team. This is a travel-based role with projects primarily across the East Coast, including Florida, the Northeast, and the Midwest. The company has a strong pipeline of work, with 7+ months of projects already secured,
This is a unique opportunity to build and lead your own team, with a clear path to General Superintendent within 18-24 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead field operations on specialty foundation projects (drilled shafts, augercast piles, micro piles)
- Ensure quality control, safety, and schedule adherence
- Collaborate with project managers and operations leads
- Mentor junior staff and help grow the team to 5-6 people over time
- Represent the company professionally on job sites across the U.S.
Ideal Candidate:
- 2+ years of experience as a Superintendent (mid to senior level)
- Strong leadership and operational skills
- Willing and able to travel extensively
- Experience with drilled shafts and augercast piles is essential; micro piles a plus
- Open to candidates stepping up from a Foreman role if they show ambition and capability
- Comfortable working away from home with a 3-weeks-on / 1-week-off rotation
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive annual salary ($120K-$160K)
- Substantial performance-based bonuses
- Per diem provided while on job sites (accommodation covered - hotels or apartments depending on project length)
- Vehicle or truck allowance (or company vehicle)
- Trailer accommodation supported with adjusted per diem rates
