Validation Project Manager (CQV) / Senior Project Engineer 2
A rapidly growing consultancy supporting the life sciences industry is seeking an experienced Validation Project Manager to lead commissioning, qualification, and validation (CQV) projects. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful healthcare advancements while overseeing project delivery, compliance, and stakeholder alignment in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead complex CQV projects, developing timelines, budgets, and resource plans
Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver compliant solutions
Prepare and maintain documentation related to change control, specifications, and regulatory compliance
Guide teams in meeting project milestones while ensuring alignment with cGMP and quality standards
Identify project risks and lead mitigation strategies and impact assessments
Host and document meetings, ensuring accountability for deliverables and action items
Manage vendor interactions and participate in bid development and evaluation
Provide mentoring and technical direction to junior staff
Proactively recognize business opportunities and share potential leads with senior leadership
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 7 years relevant experience managing CQV projects in life sciences or pharmaceutical settings
Proven ability to lead multi-stream projects with complex interdependencies
Familiarity with regulatory and industry guidelines (e.g., cGMP)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills across stakeholder levels
Strong knowledge of project scheduling tools, particularly Microsoft Project
Confident managing budgets, resource plans, and vendor relationships
Ability to work on-site in Warren, NJ
Strategic thinker with a track record of mentoring and developing talent
