Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Building Automation Programmer with hands-on experience in Delta Controls DDC systems. This fully remote role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who can work independently while collaborating virtually with project teams and clients. You will be responsible for programming, configuring, and commissioning building automation systems (BAS) to optimize HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, program, and commission Delta Controls DDC systems for new and existing building automation projects.
- Interpret mechanical, electrical, and control drawings to design and implement control strategies.
- Configure and integrate Delta Controls software (e.g., enteliWEB, enteliTOUCH, ORCAview) for system visualization and user interface.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate remotely with project managers, engineers, and field technicians to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams.
- Maintain documentation including control schematics, sequences of operation, and as-built drawings.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Delta Controls DDC systems (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Proficiency in Delta programming tools and software platforms.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and control theory.
- Familiarity with BACnet and other open communication protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Delta Controls Technician Certification) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with integration of third-party systems (e.g., lighting, access control).
- Knowledge of energy management and sustainability practices.
- Familiarity with IT networking as it relates to BAS.
