Water Resources Project Manager
We're working with a national civil engineering firm that has established a strong presence across Texas and is continuing to grow its Austin office. They are looking to hire a Water Resources Project Manager who can take ownership of project delivery while also playing a visible role with clients and the internal team.
This position is well suited to someone who enjoys managing projects from start to finish but still wants to stay close to the technical side. You will be working on a steady pipeline of drainage, stormwater, and hydrology and hydraulics work across Central Texas, with the opportunity to help shape how projects are delivered locally as the team continues to expand.
What you will be doing
- Managing drainage, stormwater, and H and H projects from planning through delivery
- Leading internal project teams and coordinating design efforts
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients and local agencies
- Supporting proposals, scopes, budgets, and schedules
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team growth
What they are looking for
- 6 to 12 plus years in water resources, drainage, or stormwater
- Strong experience delivering projects in Texas
- PE license required
- Comfortable managing clients and leading project teams
- Experience with HEC RAS, HEC HMS, or similar tools
