Project Manager - Water Services

Position Summary:
A specialized engineering consulting firm is seeking a Water Services Project Manager to lead infrastructure preservation and water-related projects in the San Diego region. This role is ideal for a technically skilled and client-focused professional with experience managing water infrastructure projects and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage water infrastructure projects including condition assessments, rehabilitation design, corrosion control, and asset management.
• Lead project planning, execution, and delivery while coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring project goals, budgets, and timelines are met.
• Prepare technical reports, design documents, and regulatory submittals.
• Support proposal development and contribute to business development efforts.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and internal quality protocols.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
• California Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• 8+ years of experience in water infrastructure or water services engineering.
• Strong understanding of corrosion engineering, asset management, and condition assessment techniques.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Southern California water agencies and permitting processes.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary range: $125,000 - $165,000 annually.
