Position Summary:
A specialized engineering consulting firm is seeking a Water Services Project Manager to lead infrastructure preservation and water-related projects in the San Diego region. This role is ideal for a technically skilled and client-focused professional with experience managing water infrastructure projects and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage water infrastructure projects including condition assessments, rehabilitation design, corrosion control, and asset management.
- Lead project planning, execution, and delivery while coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring project goals, budgets, and timelines are met.
- Prepare technical reports, design documents, and regulatory submittals.
- Support proposal development and contribute to business development efforts.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and internal quality protocols.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- California Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- 8+ years of experience in water infrastructure or water services engineering.
- Strong understanding of corrosion engineering, asset management, and condition assessment techniques.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Southern California water agencies and permitting processes.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $125,000 - $165,000 annually.
