About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex water infrastructure projects in Southern California. Based in Irvine, CA, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with municipal and utility clients on high-impact water, wastewater, recycled water, and stormwater projects. The ideal candidate is a strong technical leader with proven project management expertise and a client-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk
  • Serve as the primary client liaison and trusted advisor
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and mentor project managers and engineers
  • Oversee contract administration, change management, and consultant coordination
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and agency standards
  • Support business development, proposals, and client relationship growth

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (Master's preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • 10+ years of experience in water or wastewater infrastructure delivery
  • Demonstrated success managing large or complex public-sector projects
  • Strong understanding of Southern California water agencies and delivery methods
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
