A nationally recognized engineering consultancy is seeking a W/WW Infrastructure Civil Engineer to support the planning and design of water and wastewater conveyance systems in the Seattle area. This role is ideal for a motivated engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering infrastructure solutions that protect public health and the environment.


About the Role

You'll be part of a team focused on designing pump stations, pipelines, and related infrastructure that support critical water and wastewater systems. The position emphasizes in-person collaboration and offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging and meaningful projects that serve communities across the region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support engineering design for water and wastewater conveyance systems, including pump stations and pipelines.
  • Conduct hydraulic modeling and system analysis.
  • Prepare engineering reports, technical memoranda, and construction documents.
  • Develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Evaluate design alternatives and contribute to feasibility studies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • 4-5 years of experience in consulting engineering, with a focus on water/wastewater infrastructure.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and infrastructure design.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Final compensation will be based on a variety of factors including education, certifications, experience, and performance
