Role: *Hybrid* Mid-Level Environmental Engineer/Geologist/Scientist
Salary: $80,000 to $100,000 DOE
Location: Long Beach, CA
Are you passionate about environmental science and eager to make a difference? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to join our Client's team in or near Long Beach. This position requires 2-5 years of experience in the field, specifically in monitoring well installation, soil log borings, and remediation operations and maintenance (O&M).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct monitoring well installations and oversee soil log borings.
- Perform remediation operations and maintenance activities.
- Collect and analyze environmental samples.
- Prepare detailed reports and technical documents.
- Collaborate with project managers and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant field experience in environmental consulting or similar industry.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring well installations, soil log borings, and remediation O&M.
- Experience with environmental sampling techniques and data interpretation.
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training) or GIT (Geologist-in-Training) certification is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and environmental compliance requirements.
