I am currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Acoustics Business Development Manager to join a team remotely. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding their client base and driving business growth in the field of acoustic consulting. The Acoustics Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and promoting our acoustic consulting services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the field of acoustic consulting, including but not limited to construction, transportation, industrial sites, and buildings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to understand their acoustic consulting needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
- Collaborate with the technical team to understand the capabilities and strengths of our acoustic consulting services, ensuring accurate representation to clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities and challenges.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing strategies that promote our acoustic consulting services.
- Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities, sales pipelines, and market trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Acoustic background or knowledge is a plus.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development, with a focus on selling consulting services, preferably in the acoustic or related industries.
- Strong understanding of acoustic principles and their application in various sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Familiarity with remote work tools and a proactive approach to remote collaboration.
- Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
- A strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
