Position Overview: As an Assistant Project Manager/Geologist, you will play a key role in our geological exploration and assessment projects. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in geologic principles, hands-on field experience, and a passion for contributing to meaningful and impactful projects.
- Conduct geological fieldwork, including site investigations, sample collection, and data acquisition.
- Analyze geological data to interpret subsurface conditions and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support environmental impact assessments and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare detailed geological reports and contribute to project documentation.
- Utilize geospatial technologies and software for mapping and analysis.
- Provide technical expertise and support to junior team members and project managers.
- Stay current on industry trends, advancements, and best practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology or a related field.
- A minimum of 4-8 years of relevant professional experience in geological exploration.
- Proficient in field techniques, geological mapping, and sample collection.
- Strong understanding of geologic principles and the ability to interpret geological data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing both projects and teams.
