Job Title: AV Design Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a talented AV Design Engineer to join our client and lead the design and implementation of innovative audiovisual systems. This role involves crafting custom solutions that enhance communication and collaboration through advanced technology. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in AV technology and a proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer comprehensive AV solutions, including digital signage, sound systems, video conferencing, and broadcasting equipment.
- Produce detailed technical drawings and schematics using CAD software.
- Work closely with project managers and clients to ensure that all designs adhere to specifications and budget constraints.
- Perform site surveys and liaise with other construction and technology professionals.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, guaranteeing timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Stay updated with the latest AV technologies and industry trends to suggest system upgrades and improvements.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in AV system design and engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- In-depth understanding of current AV standards and new technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Effective time management skills with the capability to handle multiple projects at once.
- AV technology certifications (e.g., CTS, CTS-D) are preferred.
