Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of AV hardware and software.
- Conduct site surveys to determine the best AV solutions tailored to each client's needs.
- Collaborate with project managers and design teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide technical support and training to clients, ensuring they can effectively use their AV systems.
- Stay abreast of the latest AV technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and updates to clients.
- Manage and mentor junior AV technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Ensure all AV installations comply with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Audio Visual Technology) or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in AV system design, installation, and maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of AV technologies, including digital signage, video conferencing, sound systems, and control systems.
- Proficient in AV software and control system programming (e.g., Crestron, Extron, AMX).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed for project requirements.
- CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I certification preferred.
