Job Description:
We are looking for a Live Event Sales Executive to drive corporate sales and foster strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, a deep understanding of the live event industry, and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for corporate live events. Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their event needs and providing tailored solutions. Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales process.
- Proposal Development: Create compelling and customized proposals that highlight our unique value proposition and address client needs. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals are comprehensive and competitive.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities. Use insights to inform sales strategies and stay ahead of market developments.
- Networking & Outreach: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote our services and generate leads. Develop a robust network of industry contacts.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions using CRM software. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the event planning and production teams to ensure seamless execution of events. Communicate client expectations and requirements clearly to ensure successful event delivery.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support. Address client concerns promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the live event or hospitality industry. Corporate sales experience is highly desirable.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the live event industry, including event planning, production, and technology.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry professionals.
- Self-Motivated: Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Technology: Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with event management software is a plus.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and site visits.
