Position: Fully Remote Bridge Estimator - Alternative Delivery Projects

Salary: $160,000- $210,000

Position Overview: As a Remote Bridge Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for bridge construction projects, with a focus on alternative delivery methods such as Design-Build and Public-Private Partnerships (P3s). You will leverage your expertise to support project planning, budgeting, and execution, ensuring our projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive cost estimates for bridge construction projects using alternative delivery methods.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and contract documents to determine scope, schedule, and costs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather information and refine estimates.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential cost impacts.
- Stay current with industry trends, material costs, and emerging technologies relevant to bridge construction.
- Present and explain estimates and related documentation to stakeholders and clients.
Experience Needed:
- Proven experience as a Bridge Estimator on alternative delivery projects, including Design-Build and P3.
- Strong understanding of bridge construction methodologies and cost estimation techniques.
- Experience with project budgeting and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools for estimating and project management.
- Ability to interpret complex blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge estimation, with a focus on alternative delivery methods.
- Professional certification (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator (CPE)) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, HCSS, PlanSwift).
