As a Business Development Manager specializing in utility-scale solar projects, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and expansion in the Japanese market. Leveraging your expertise in renewable energy and strong network within the industry, you will identify and pursue strategic opportunities for developing large-scale solar and BESS (future) projects across Japan. Your responsibilities will include:
Main Role:
- Conducting thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential project sites for utility-scale renewable energy development.
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies (METI), utilities, landowners, and local communities.
- Managing project development activities from site identification and feasibility studies to securing land rights, permits, and interconnection agreements
- Providing input and insights to senior management on market trends, competitive landscape, and business development strategies.
Requirements:
- 4-5 Years of Experience as a Solar Developer
- Fluent in Japanese (Native) and English (Business Level)
- Driver's License
