With a strong emphasis on electrical power and high-voltage systems, my client is looking for a Deputy Project Leader with a robust background in electrical engineering to join their team. This role is critical to ensuring the successful execution of technically demanding projects.
Role Overview: The Deputy Project Leader will support the leadership and coordination of electrical engineering projects, focusing on high-voltage systems and power distribution. This position is ideal for an engineer with hands-on experience in REVIT MEP, SKM Power Tools, and engineering calculations, who is ready to step into a leadership role. The role also requires a solid understanding of the industrial, government, or data center sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Leader in overseeing electrical engineering projects, with a focus on power distribution and high-voltage systems.
- Utilize REVIT MEP and SKM Power Tools to perform detailed engineering calculations and design work.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and client expectations.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to address technical challenges and optimize project outcomes.
- Prepare and present detailed project reports, including technical documentation and progress updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a preference for Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with REVIT MEP, SKM Power Tools, and engineering calculations is essential.
- Strong background in electrical power systems, particularly in high-voltage environments.
- Experience in the industrial, government, or data center sectors is preferred.
- EIT certification is required, with the ability and willingness to obtain a PE license.
- US Citizenship is required due to project specifications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects.
