As a Digital Sales Consultant for the Asset Performance Management (APM) Pillar of our Digital Solution, your main responsibility will be to sell APM solutions to customers, with a focus on achieving volume, mix, and profitability targets outlined in the Operations Plan for the portfolio. You will be accountable for meeting the assigned quota for the designated portfolio and will be in charge of building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline that includes both existing and new accounts.
Developing and nurturing effective customer relationships will be crucial in understanding customer needs and promoting a comprehensive understanding of our product/systems/services offerings related to the APM Pillar. Your role will be essential in ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, as well as maintaining these relationships post-sales.
You will be responsible for devising the sales strategy for the APM Pillar, preparing sales plans with a three-year line of sight using company tools. Regularly reviewing the status of sales and addressing potential order shortfalls with recovery plans will be part of your duties. Additionally, you will work towards creating a winning strategy for every qualified APM opportunity in the sales pipeline.
To achieve success in this role, you will engage with clients at all levels to gain a thorough understanding of their business, challenges, and objectives. By doing so, you can create added value for both the customer and the company, using effective sales techniques to ensure successful transactions, contracts, and proposals.
Efficient marketing activities and a strong value proposition will be important to attract and retain customers. Rather than simply promoting products, you will engage clients by asking relevant questions to understand their needs better.
As the Digital Sales Consultant, you will also play a key role in identifying and pursuing new market opportunities within the designated market. This involves fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing across different teams and departments.
Administrative procedures in sales processes will be under your management, and you may provide support for collection and project management activities when necessary. Building and expanding a network of competent internal stakeholders will help enhance selling capabilities and prepare for future pursuits in the region.
In coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager, you will prepare offers that align with Global guidelines, including appropriate technical and financial aspects such as prices and contract terms.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or relevant experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in APM enterprise solution selling, with a strong understanding of operations technologies software.
- A proven track record of leading large teams to deliver results is essential, as well as knowledge in the digital OT, ET, and IT ecosystem.
- Experience in collaborating with Sales Account Managers, Technical Account Managers, and Client Managers, and coaching them on winning strategies is highly desirable.
- Ability to influence business units, teams, and resources that you do not directly manage will be critical.
- Executive presentation skills and experience engaging with top-level executives like CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, CTOs, and COOs will be advantageous in this role.
