Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Mid-Level Environmental Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing environmental projects and possess a strong understanding of regulatory requirements. Preference will be given to candidates with a Professional Geologist (PG) or Geologist-in-Training (GIT) license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage environmental projects from inception to completion, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and reporting.
- Conduct and oversee field investigations, environmental assessments, and remediation activities.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies, clients, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project objectives.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and other project deliverables.
- Mentor and support junior staff members, providing technical guidance and training as needed.
- Monitor project progress, assess risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in environmental consulting or related industry.
- Professional Geologist (PG) or Geologist-in-Training (GIT) license preferred.
- Proven experience managing environmental projects, including field work and report writing.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
