Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Houston, TX preferred - hybrid / remote depending
Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 + 10% annual bonus
Our client, a leading IPP in energy transition and developer in renewable energy projects, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their growing Finance team.
Responsibilities:
* Lead SME sign- off processes
* Prepare financial forecasts
* Create and develop financial models for Executive team
* Conduct M&A opportunities and processes which include due diligence, valuation, and negotiation
* Evaluate financial models for new renewable technologies
* Facilitate in presentation preparation, investment memos, corporate audit processes (IFRS) and SOX compliance
* Prepare corporate level models for valuation and budgeting processes
Qualifications and Skills Required:
* 1-3 years of relevant experience
* Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
* Proficient in financial modelling, financial analysis, and Excel
* Preferred experience in renewable energy, utility, fund, or investment bank
* In-depth understanding or experience in power markets, power price forecasting, and renewables development financing
