The firm are looking for a candidate with a strong electrical engineering background who is interested in learning the ropes within forensics, fire and explosion consulting and electrical failure analysis.
Job description:
- Conducting on site and field investigations to analyse failures and accidents involving all types of electrical equipment, products and wiring systems.
- Performing electrical evaluations of failed and damaged components to determine the root cause of the failure including lightning damage, electrocutions, electrically related fires, appliance and consumer product failure evaluation, commercial equipment failures and damage evaluation of other power or electrical systems.
- Conducting field and lab investigations for various types of clients.
- Business Development not required. The company have a strong backlog of repeat clients to keep you busy!
- Must have strong communication ability to provide technical findings and conclusions in laymen's terms both verbally and in writing
- Potentially providing expert witness and court testimony.
- Hybrid working (minimum 1 day in office)
Requirements:
- Electrical Engineering Degree
- PE License
- 5+years experience in electrical engineering
- Ability to Travel
