I am currently hiring for a forensic engineer position with a boutique consulting and engineering firm. Looking for a structural forensic engineer to join the team in Atlanta. This is a remote position with the need to travel out of state occasionally.

We are looking for a structural forensic engineer to support the team with a backlog of projects and hold the values that the firm have maintained. The right candidate have a structural background, or experience in roofing, construction, code verification's, structural damage assessments, flood or water loss evaluations, settlement or geotechnical failures, or root-cause analyses.
Responsibilities:
- Provide residential and commercial site investigations to determine cause and origin of structural failure.
- Investigate and assess damages due to catastrophes such as storm damage, hurricanes, and floods.
- Provide signed and sealed detailed reports outlining cause and origin of damage to clients.
- Mange multiple projects and assumes responsibility for project execution within budget and on time.
- Research technical publications and literature in support of evaluations.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding project status.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 Years experience
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Customer service
- Strong analytical and field inspection skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Structural background, or experience in roofing, construction, code verification's, structural damage assessments, flood or water loss evaluations, settlement or geotechnical failures, or root-cause analyses.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or structural Engineering.
- Masters (preferred)
- PE Licensed.
- 5 Years experience in forensics.
- IIBEC credentials (preferred)
