Position: Heavy Civil and Industrial Lead Estimator
Salary: $140,000- $160,000 + Ownership Potential

Position Summary:
As the Heavy Civil and Industrial Lead Estimator, you will oversee the estimating process for large-scale projects, ensuring accurate and competitive bids. You will lead a team of estimators, collaborate with project managers, and engage with subcontractors to drive project success from the start.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of estimators in preparing accurate cost estimates for heavy civil and industrial projects.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and scope of work to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Utilize industry-standard software and tools to facilitate the estimating process.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather project data and provide input on project feasibility.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges during the estimating phase.
- Present estimates and proposals to management and clients, ensuring clarity and confidence in the bidding process.
Experience Needed:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating for heavy civil or industrial projects.
- Proven track record of successfully leading estimating teams and managing large bids.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry best practices.
- Experience with relevant estimating software (e.g., HCSS, Bluebeam, or similar).
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
