Partnered with a leading national multi-disciplined engineering firm that's got well over 100 years of industry experience under their belt, with 1300+ employees across the U.S. They have a strong presence throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast and looking to develop a presence coast to coast within the next few years. They're looking for a Highway Technical Leader out of Charlotte, NC.
They work on design/build, P3, and traditional bid/build projects worth up to billions of dollars and are looking for someone to oversee the technical aspects of highway/roadway projects in North Carolina. The ideal person will be able to lead complex and routine road design projects and provide creative and lasting solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- PE License in NC
- 8+ years of roadway design experience
- Experience with Microstation, Geopak, InRoads, OpenRoads, and other roadway softwares
- Ability to mentor and teach design staff on technical apsects of roadway projects
- Knowledge and understanding of industry codes and standards related to roadway design
Preferences:
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- NCDOT and local county/city experience
- Alternative delivery experience
