Currently partnered with a large Mechanical contractor based in the Detroit metro area. They've been experiencing large growth over the past few years and are looking to strengthen their mechanical/HVAC division with an experienced Service/Account Manager.
The Service Manager will be responsible for managing Service Work assigned or acquired on a day to day basis. These responsibilities include the coordination of service calls and to assist the project managers. In addition, the successful candidate in this position will also explore new business opportunities in Commercial and Industrial service.
- Oversee and manage mechanical/HVAC service projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Lead a team of skilled technicians, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to promote professional growth.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs, and ensuring satisfaction. Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams.
- Utilize understanding of mechanical systems and construction practices to troubleshoot and provide effective solutions.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical construction.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset.
