Key Responsibilities:
- Participate/lead civil engineering design and construction management activities for a diverse range of projects, including roads, bridges, and utilities.
- Manage project teams and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery within budget and compliance with quality standards.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout all phases of project lifecycle, from planning and design to execution and handover.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to address project requirements and obtain necessary approvals.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and project staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning within the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/Structural engineering/Marine engineering/Naval Architectual
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design or construction management, with a demonstrated track record of success.
- Proficiency in relevant design and project management software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D
- Strong knowledge of local engineering codes, regulations, and industry best practices in Japan.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in Japanese languages is highly desirable.
- Japanese PE License, civil construction management license is highly appreciated
