Our client, a leading provider of low voltage technology solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ICT Engineer to join their dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technical expertise and leadership across a variety of low voltage projects, including structured cabling, ICT infrastructure, audio-visual systems, security systems, and telecommunications. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of low voltage systems, including structured cabling, ICT infrastructure, AV, security, and telecommunications.
- Develop and manage ICT system architecture, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Oversee end-to-end project execution, from planning through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
- Provide technical support and direction to project managers, engineers, technicians, and clients, ensuring effective system integration and implementation.
- Conduct remote site assessments and develop detailed system designs that meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including system designs, specifications, installation procedures, and project reports.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations and client expectations.
- Participate in project meetings, providing expert technical advice and ensuring all teams are aligned in meeting project goals.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in ICT and low voltage systems, implementing improvements and innovations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in low voltage systems design, ICT infrastructure, and project management.
- Strong expertise in structured cabling, ICT systems, audio-visual solutions, security systems, and telecommunications.
- Proficient in industry-standard ICT design software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage projects remotely and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
