This industry leader in the built environment is urgently seeking a Managing Director for their Existing Buildings team in Orlando. Their existing structures service line was first established around 25 years ago and covers projects within 4 key practice areas: Building Enclosures, Forensic Investigation, Parking Structures, and Structural Repair & Restoration. This group currently has a presence in 23 different regional offices and a team of over 150 leading experts throughout the US. Responsibilities:
- Project planning and budgeting.
- Provide technical consulting solutions on projects across all of their services for a variety of complex project types.
- Manage and develop the technical team for the Orlando office.
- Maintain existing clientele and develop new business relationships, to generate projects.
- Act as a representative for the business at a range of industry networking events.
Requirement:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Engineering or Architectural field, i.e. Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering, or Architecture. Further study preferred.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) and/or Registered Architect (R.A.) in Florida is a MUST.
- Further credentials seen as a plus, i.e., S.E. license, IIBEC, NCARB, LEED etc.
- 10-15+ years of experience, focused around their key areas of service.
- Proven experience in leadership/management positions.
- Experience providing trial/deposition testimony for litigated assignments necessary for forensic specialist applicants.
- Business development acumen, and transferable book of business ($250k plus).
