Mechanical Estimator for High-Tech Construction Projects (REMOTE)
Our client is seeking an experienced and driven mechanical estimator to join their dynamic team in the United States. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working on commercial, healthcare, industrial, data center or high-tech construction projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years' work experience as a mechanical estimator
- Knowledge of estimating tools
Skills:
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Excellent communication skills both verbal & written with clients/vendors/management.
- Strong computer proficiency using software programs like Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) etc., necessary for documenting project estimates
Responsibilities include but not limited to;
* Reviewing plans/drawings/specs carefully before making any estimate decisions
* Creating detailed material/labor take-off calculations
* Using cost analysis techniques/tools/software applications needed during different phases of estimation process
