P&C Design Engineer
- Support a variety of electrical design and consulting services for utility clients, focusing on substation design and protection/control systems.
- Provide engineering design, drawing development, bidding and procurement, contract preparation, construction management, and technical review in line with industry standards and firm guidelines.
- Coordinate with construction crews to ensure proper installation of facilities per design specifications.
- Conduct site visits for inspections and supervision to ensure adherence to designs, contract documents, and industry standards.
- Oversee quality control and technical reviews to ensure compliance with engineering principles and client specifications; seal projects with Professional Engineering licensure as applicable.
- Collaborate with other departments to effectively meet client needs.
- Pursue ongoing education and certifications to maintain Professional Engineering licensure.
- Manage project expenditures and hours within budget constraints.
- Work cooperatively with team members to enhance efficiencies and improve deliverables.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of direct engineering experience
- EIT or P.E. License heavily preferred
P&C Designer
- Perform detailed design of medium to extra high voltage utility substations
- Perform detailed design of one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, protection schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA and communications
- Familiar with conduit and cable sizing/routing, substation physical layouts, AC/DC service calculations and selection of substation equipment
- The successful candidate shall be able to contribute to substation equipment specifications, proposal development, and project scheduling
- Occasional travel will be required

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of direct P&C design experience
- Associates Degree or Equivalent Technical Education
- Comfortable with AutoCAD software
