A prominent Anaerobic Digester Owner Operator, seeks a Facility Manager to oversee its dairy manure digester biogas to renewable natural gas (RNG) facility, conveniently situated an hour north of Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate will steer the overall policy-making, planning, and operational direction of plant activities, prioritizing health and safety, environmental compliance, and financial growth. This role entails providing day-to-day leadership and management of all plant operations functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and propose operations policies, goals, and objectives, crafting short-term plans with supporting data and budgets.
- Set annual goals and objectives for immediate subordinates, establishing procedures to guide activities.
- Review and approve plant operating and capital budgets, recommending and justifying improvement projects.
- Identify training needs, initiate personnel development, and ensure OSHA safety standards are met.
- Provide operational reports, monitoring plant performance and recommending adjustments as needed.
- Contribute operational input for new projects, including cost estimation and plant design.
- Coordinate with other company departments to ensure smooth operations and recommend procedural improvements.
- Deliver operational updates to stakeholders and senior management as required.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:
- Experience in managing anaerobic digesters or similar facilities, or relevant experience in oil and gas or solid fuel power generation.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent facility management experience.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning skills.
- Advocacy for participative management and teamwork.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate with diverse personalities.
- Results-oriented mindset with strong communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Physical capability to navigate construction sites and occasionally lift heavy items.
