Position Overview:
They seek an exceptional Principal Environmental Engineer/Operations Manager with proven leadership skills and technical expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading all aspects of the company's environmental engineering initiatives while ensuring efficiency, quality control, compliance with regulatory standards & maintaining strong relationships within clients' circles. This position will also be eligible for the firm's quarterly and annual bonuses.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop & execute effective strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Operation Management: Oversee operational activities including project management; data collection analysis interpretation reporting recommendation implementation monitoring verification optimization documentation etc.
- Technical Expertise: Provide high-level guidance on complex projects offering innovative troubleshooting solutions regarding the design and delivery of projects.
- Team and Project Management: Directly mentor team members fostering excellent collaboration and continuous improvement. Manage $5 million + projects.
- Client Engagement: Establish and maintain client relationships while also generating new business.
Requirements:
-B.A. or B.S. in Environmental Engineering or related field.
- 15+ years of experience as an environmental consultant
-Experience managing a direct team and delegating. Proven senior-level managerial record demonstrating strategic planning abilities alongside interpersonal problem-solving communication negotiation proficiency.
-Ability to generate new business with clients and strengthen current client relationships.
- Willing to travel up to 10%.
