Summary: Seeking a talented and experienced Project Development Professional to oversee the entire development lifecycle of Distributed Generation solar and storage projects across the United States, with a focus on the MISO market. As a key member of the project development team, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution throughout the entire project development lifecycle, from initial feasibility assessments to the onset of construction, with a focus on obtaining site control, interconnection, and permitting, to ensure a successful handoff.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial feasibility assessments and risk analyses to evaluate project viability and identify potential obstacles.
- Develop and implement strategic plans and timelines to meet project milestones and objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, regulatory agencies, and local communities.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, and proactively identify and address any issues or deviations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of solar/energy storage project development or related experience, with a preference for Distributed Generation exposure and simultaneous management of multiple projects across different markets.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively manage complex projects from inception to completion.
- Knowledgeable on the renewable energy sector and power markets, with a deep understanding of market trends.
- Ability to travel as needed up to 30%.
