Project Engineer, PE - Land Development: $105k-135k
A national civil firm that serves private and public clients across various sectors (including commercial, residential, health care, academic, laboratory, corporate, hospitality, civic, justice, and public works), is on the lookout for a project engineer to join their team in Salt Lake City, UT. The ideal candidate will reside in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area and possess strong technical skills and experience in land development project design.

Responsibilities:
- Apply standard engineering methods to develop construction documents
- Ability to work from home proficiently (position will start fully remote)
- Technical skills: site plans, grading, storm-water treatment, and utility systems from initial planning through construction
- Prepare specifications, conduct research, and write reports
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate technical phases of projects
- Collaborate with designers, subcontractors, and municipal agencies
- Mentor design engineers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- More than 4 years of experience in project design (Land Development Design)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) actively pursuing PE licensure
- Software experience: AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrological modeling programs, and storm drainage programs
- Knowledge of precise grading, utility plans, storm-water management, and earthwork
