We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Level Environmental Engineer to join the team in Seattle. This dynamic environmental consulting firm will give you the opportunities to grow professionally, taking on both technical and managerial responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in environmental engineering, with expertise in remediation, feasibility studies, plans and specifications development, and construction management and oversight.
Responsibilities:
Remediation:
- Lead and manage environmental remediation projects from conception to completion.
- Conduct site assessments and develop comprehensive remediation strategies.
- Oversee the implementation of remediation plans, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Feasibility Studies:
- Conduct thorough feasibility studies to assess the viability and effectiveness of proposed environmental projects.
- Analyze environmental data and provide recommendations based on sound engineering principles.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions.
Plans and Specifications:
- Develop detailed plans and specifications for environmental projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Work closely with design teams to integrate environmental considerations into overall project plans.
- Review and modify plans as necessary to address changing project requirements.
Construction Management and Oversight:
- Provide on-site construction management and oversight for environmental projects.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and environmental regulations.
- Address and resolve any issues that may arise during the construction phase.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in environmental engineering, with a focus on remediation projects.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD, GIS, and other relevant software.
