As a Project Geologist, you will play a critical role in managing and executing geological projects throughout the Sacramento region. You will collaborate with a team of professionals, including engineers, scientists, and project managers, to deliver high-quality geological assessments and remediation solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct geological site assessments, including field investigations and data collection.
- Analyze and interpret geological data to develop conceptual site models.
- Prepare technical reports, including geologic assessments and site characterizations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of remediation strategies.
- Conduct soil and groundwater sampling and analysis.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field.
- Professional Geologist (PG) certification in the state of California is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related field.
- Strong fieldwork and data collection skills.
- Proficiency in geological software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of California environmental regulations and permitting processes.
