Company Summary: A leading developer in the renewable energy industry is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to join their team of engineers. This company is actively engaged with adding to their utility solar and energy storage pipeline of 40GW.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for:
- Creating preliminary designs for utility scale solar and solar plus storage projects
- Demonstrated ability to participate in all phases of PV projects, including full project design and final construction documents
- Abide by code, design and technical standards and requirements throughout the project life cycle
- Support the evaluation of inverters, collection cables and combiner boxes
The Senior Electrical Engineer will have experience in:
- 3+ years of renewable energy experience
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- Experience designing Commercial or Utility Scale PV Projects
- High Voltage/ Medium Voltage design and specifications experience
- Familiarity with National Electric Code
- Computer proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, PV Syst, ETAP or other relevant software
- EIT or PE License preferred
- NABCEP PV Installer Certification preferred
