One of my clients is looking for a Senior Field Engineer in Philadelphia/South New Jersey Region! Below is a list of responsibilities!
- Comprehend advanced system drawings, specifications, and technical manuals
- Test, Commission, and operate most types of AV systems and equipment
- Ensures quality of AV installations per consultant specifications standards
- Trouble shoot and configure AV equipment such as media control systems (Crestron & Extron), (Biamp & QSC) DSPs, matrix mixers, switchers and codecs
- Ability to work alongside programmers to troubleshoot, debug, and test programming
- Have experience with Microsoft teams, Zoom and Cisco
- Configure IP addressable devices such as routers, switches, servers
- Contribute on projects from initial estimating phase through final inspections
- Lead on-site installation team & subcontractors to complete punch list items
- Provide close out documentation such as as-builts, IP tables, and other applicable item
- Interact with clients in a professional, customer service orientated manner
- Train Clients on how to use AV system, trouble shoot and best practices
