A top company in the power delivery space is looking for a Senior Distribution Engineer in the Great Lakes Region. This energy and power consulting firm specializes in power delivery services while giving individuals the opportunity to grow and excel in their space. In this role, individuals will have the opportunity to lead a project team to design and analyze power line systems and join an exceptional company.
Salary Range: $100,000-$150,000
Responsibilities:
- Design and plan distribution systems for electricity, water, or other utilities to meet capacity and reliability requirements.
- Evaluate existing distribution lines and propose upgrades or modifications.
- Conduct technical analyses, including load flow studies, voltage drop calculations, and short circuit analysis.
- Prepare reports for internal use and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure distribution systems comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Proven experience in distribution system design, planning, and project management.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Strong analytically, problem-solving, and communication skills.
