We are proudly representing a leading firm in Atlanta who are currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to assist with their key projects in Georgia for the year. They cover a broad range of projects and markets and are currently dominating the large commercial and industrial projects across Georgia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed geotechnical analyses and provide expert recommendations.
- Design and oversee site investigations, including soil sampling, drilling, and testing.
- Prepare and review comprehensive geotechnical reports and proposals.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
- Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Participate in business development and client relationship management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required in Georgia.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge of geotechnical principles, soil mechanics, and foundation design.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software and Microsoft Office Suite.
