As a Senior Hydrogeologist, you will play a key role in leading and managing hydrogeological projects in Washington. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise, conducting field investigations, and delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrogeology, groundwater modeling, and possess excellent project management skills.
Position Overview:
- Lead and manage hydrogeological projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Conduct aquifer testing, well installation, and groundwater sampling for project assessments.
- Develop and implement models to analyze hydrogeological systems, assess water resources, and predict groundwater behavior.
- Provide guidance in hydrogeology, groundwater flow, and contaminant transport to support project teams and clients.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to groundwater and environmental protection.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understand needs, and communicate technical findings effectively.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including geologists, engineers, and environmental scientists.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Hydrogeology, Geology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years in hydrogeology with a proven track record of successful project management.
- Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Hydrogeologist (LHg) license in Washington is required.
- Proficiency in groundwater modeling software (e.g., MODFLOW, FEFLOW), GIS, and relevant hydrogeological tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, conveying complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior staff.
