The Senior Project Development Manager will oversee diverse facets of project development, business expansion, construction, and financial support. In this role there will be close collaboration with various teams such as Legal, Business Development, Project Delivery, Engineering, Energy Delivery, Finance, and Communications. This individual will be responsible for coordinating activities like site selection, acquisition, due diligence, title searches, entitlements, environmental permitting, jurisdictional permitting, project development budgets, tax abatement agreements, mineral procurement, rights-of-way acquisition, and other real estate components crucial for project advancement.

- Developing portfolios of utility-scale solar land assets to fortify the Business Development pipeline, emphasizing the MISO market and undisclosed regions.
- Supervising portfolios from initial stages, be it greenfield or acquisition, until they progress to the construction and financing phase. Tasks include site selection, surveying, geotechnical investigations, preliminary layout, interconnection studies, easements, environmental assessment, mineral title, and title diligence, permitting, and tax abatements. Collaborate with Senior Management and the Executive Team to identify business opportunities for new power facilities nationwide.
- Overseeing a team of junior developers working on DG scale projects, primarily in undisclosed regions.
- Participating in or leading due diligence for projects, ensuring comprehensive evaluation of environmental, interconnection, mineral title, and title procurement, permitting, and financial aspects. Provide site viability recommendations for Executive review.
- Communicating effectively with vendors and partners while maintaining discretion.
- Prioritizing tasks for project objectives, including deadlines, cost targets, and project schedules.
- Reviewing and maintain project records with confidentiality.
- Professionally representing the organization with discretion in dealings with stakeholders.
Reporting: This position reports to Senior Director, Project Development
Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferably In Energy/Land Management or equivalent; additional educational qualifications such as PMP or advanced degree considered
Experience: Minimum 4 years of work experience in renewable development, real estate, or other related equivalent experience.
